Velcon Filling Systems was founded in 1959 in Freeport, Texas under the name Velasco Scale and Equipment. The goal of this new venture was to perform periodic and emergency maintenance of weighing equipment in the numerous plants and refineries in the Freeport/Houston area. To better suit the needs of our customers, we improved the industry's existing filling equipment, and ultimately, began designing and manufacturing an advanced line of these products. The business separated from the service line, and the name Velcon Filling Systems was born. In 1975 our first generation filler, (completely Velcon's design) debuted on the market and was an immediate success. Our tradition of enhancement, improvement, and innovation continues today, in our effort to provide total customer satisfaction. CIP…We invented the concept.

In 1995 Velcon was purchased by Enduro Systems, Inc. based in Houston, Texas. Enduro Systems, Inc. is one of the largest manufacturers of composite products and pultruded fiberglass shapes in the world.

Through 30 years of extensive research and development, Enduro Composites has secured leadership positions in fiberglass building panels, cable tray, and other related products. Specializing in FRP materials and engineered structures, Enduro offers a diverse line of products and service solutions for building, electrical, environmental, and customized applications around the globe.

Enduro’s goal is to provide customers with the highest quality product and service through its state of the art manufacturing processes. Enduro’s FRP processing capability includes pultrusion, compression and resin transfer molding, continuous lamination, filament winding, fabrication, and field services. In addition, Enduro has a staff of engineers available to assist with design, material selection, and drawings.
